Loni and Theo married in London in December. In Loni’s words…
“Being an interior designer the tablescape design was very important to me. Trinity Buoy Wharf is a large, white space so we warmed it up with a rich and vibrant colour palette of cream, mustard, amber, ochre, soft green, and aubergine, colours. These were colours I knew I wanted to incorporate from the start, both in the table décor and throughout to convey a festive warmth, without it feeling obviously Christmassy.
We wanted the long tables to feel opulent and tactile. The tables were dressed in a natural stone linen, (which had a lovely weight to it), letter-pressed menus featuring the same Fin Fellows illustrated border as on the main wedding stationary suite, miss-matched antique bone-handled cutlery from Helene Millot, with warm flashes of amber, bronze and mustard throughout via leopard print water goblets, paired with mustard taper candles, and twinkling amber votives. Florals featured ranunculus, Icelandic poppies, roses and plenty of wild foliage, adding colour and drama.
We did not have favours as such – but we had these amazing bespoke striped crackers made as place names with hand brushed calligraphy labels and long satin mustard ribbon ties. The crackers were filled with chocolate coins and jokes we had picked ourselves, which left a pretty mess strewn across the tables once pulled.”
